Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja on January 9, 2o22, made it clear that his heart lies with Amani National Congress leader (ANC) Musalia Mudavadi.
Sakaja said that young senator declared that he would follow Mudavadi to wherever he takes him – even if that place is United Democratic Alliance (UDA) headed by Deputy President William Ruto.
Sakaja said: “I trust the leadership of Musalia Mudavadi, and if he has seen it fit to team up with whichever leader, I will go with him.”
The Nairobi Senator who is primed to win Nairobi Gubernatorial seat in the 2022 elections also warned people against castigating Mudavadi against working with DP Ruto.
“As we move, people should be ready to see a lot of big changes. There are no bridges that are burnt, there are no doors that are closed,”
“There is no enmity in politics,” Sakaja said – but his comments have become the subject of discussion among Kenyans.
Here are some of the comments:
“That’s where we people from western region go wrong.. imagine we’re the second majority in kenya yet we can’t even convince ourselves to partner with the majority and win the top seat.” said Dan Omar.
“The Nairobi voter must hear this. You are just about to elect a leader who has to be shown where to follow.” – James
“People make choices and that’s his choice, when Junet and others follow Raila who complains about them, When Kihika is following Dp Ruto who has complained about that? – Daniel Wanami
“I Trust in Mudavadi’s Will to lead the Country too. As such, Should he see it fit to team up with DP Ruto or Raila, I will follow him on that path Only if he takes the Presidential Mantle as any other way would be a betrayal on his course and a let down to my Convictions of him.” – MJ
