The suspect whom police identified as Samuel Kanyi was on Friday, January 7, 2022, charged in an Eldoret court.

He, however, denied the charges of defiling the minors between October 2021 and January 1, 2022.

The two girls are said to have disappeared from their respective schools – prompting a wild search by their parents and the police.

The girls were later rescued by police officers – with the help of local administrators and members of the public.
