At least 64 people have died in a Sunday morning plane crash that occurred near the Pokhara International Airport in Nepal.
Reports indicate that the twin-engine ATR 72 aircraft was carrying 72 people when it crashed – that’s according to the airline spokesman Mr. Sudarshan Bartaula.
The plane is said to have been flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara in central Nepal.
Videos posted on social media showed a plane flying in the populated area moments before it rolled and crashed.
At least 64 people died while a few others sustained serious injuries.
