A woman said to be a mother of five has died after a giant, metallic trailer door crashed her as she was passing.
The woman, identified as Mary Anyango from Lucky Summer estate, had gone to one of the famous company in Baba-dogo to look for a casual job when the accident happened.
A source close to the family told Mwanahbari.co.ke that the woman was among casual workers who had gone to look for day work at the facility on that fateful day.
“On that fateful day she was not among those picked for day work – and was probably just preparing to leave when a trailer door crashed her as she was passing,” said the source.

The company, whose name we have hidden, is said to have rushed the woman to the hospital where she was admitted with the bill reaching upwards of Sh500,000 – which the company paid.
“She sustained injuries to her stomach, a deep cut that saw her lose blood,” said the source.
The company is said to be very cooperative, and is doing everything to help the family.
Angano has left behind a husband, also a casual worker, and five children.
The body of the woman will leave Nairobi on Thursday, February 16, for burial in Muhuru-Bay, Migori County.
