The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has finally released the 2021 Kenya Certificate Secondary Education (KCSE) examination timetable.
According to the timetable, the examinations will run from February 28, 2022, and end on April 1, 2022 – with all the papers done within the period.
The rehearsals will be done on Friday, February 25, 2022, which will be followed by French, German, Arabic orals, sign language all done between February 28, 2022, and Friday, March 4.
English Paper One (Functional Skills) and Chemistry Paper will be done on Monday, March 14, 2022, Mathematics Paper One and English Paper Two on Tuesday, March 15, English Paper Three, Chemistry Paper Two and General Science Paper One follows on Wednesday.
Thursday, March 17 – Kiswahili Papers One and Two.
Friday, March 18 – Chemistry practicals.
Monday, March 21 – Mathematics Paper Two and Biology Paper One.
March 22 – Christian Religious Education, Hindu and Islamic Religious Education examinations and Kiswahili Paper Three.
Wednesday, March 23 – Biology Paper Two, History and Government Paper One will be tackled.
Thursday, March 24 – History Paper Two.
Friday 25 – Biology practicals.
Monday, March 28 – Physics Paper One and General Science Paper and Geography Paper One.
Tuesday, March 29 – Agriculture and Business Paper One.
Wednesday, March 30 – Physics and Geography Paper Two will be tackled on
Thursday, March 31 – Business Paper Two and Agriculture Paper Two.
Schools are required to upload marks for subjects with a project component by October 30, 2021, for Milestone 1 and January 31, 2022, for Milestone 2 where applicable.
