Manchester United has one of the best squad in the English Premier League no doubt – but their performance has been nothing short of uninspiring.
The fans have inordinately had enough of it – which explains their recent campaign calling for the Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solsjer’s head.
And while Ole can ignore all the rants coming from the fans especially after Man United drew with Everton in last weekend’s encounter – the recent remarks by former coach Alex Ferguson are too loud for him to ignore.
Ferguson has said that he was “very surprised” by Cristiano Ronaldo’s omission from Manchester United’s starting line-up at the weekend.
The legendary ex-United manager was filmed in a conversation with former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at Old Trafford saying: “You should always start with your best players”.
Ferguson’s sentiments came after on-fire striker Ronaldo was left on the bench until the 57th minute in a match that saw United draw 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
In the video, Ferguson appears to suggest that Everton were given a boost “when they saw Ronaldo wasn’t playing…”
