Kenyan striker Michael Olunga will be playing alongside former Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld who has moved to Qatar-based side Al-Duhail SC.
The Belgian defender has left Tottenham after six years of service having joined from Atletico Madrid back in 2015.
Olunga who joined Al-Duhail in January will now be sharing the dressing room with Alderweireld who was part of the squad that took Spurs to their first ever Champions League final in the 2015/16 season.
Alderweireld made 236 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur – but had to be shipped out having hit 32 years of age.
Engineer Olunga joined the same club from Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol. It will be remembered that Olunga finished as top scorer in the japan league with 28 goals in 32 appearances. The performance saw him win the historic golden boot, the first ever to be won by an African.
Al Duhail are seven-time Qatar champions.
