There is a silent feeling – a form of revolution among the Luos – and the people of Embakasi East.
Paul Ongili Owino, also known as Babu Owino is creating silent waves – and it’s hard to notice it if you are keen.
The question has always been – who has the BILE and SKIN to survive the politics of Nairobi and Kenya?
A recent video that went viral gave a glimpse of what is to come. Babu Owino.
“BABU will become the governor of Nairobi in 2027 and 2032. In 2037, we want him to stand for presidency,” staunch Azimio supporter Omosh said in the video.
The Embakasi MP himself has said before that he will one day be president of Kenya – and he meant it.
Some of the people who went to University of Nairobi during his reign as Student Organization of Nairobi University (Sonu) President know him all too well.
BABU was the Sonu President when the late Education CS George Magoha was the Vice Chancellor of UoN.
Babu became the first student taking the parallel programme to head Sonu. It had never happened.
The university constitution had to be changed to accommodate BABU.
Mwanahabari understands that the people of Embakasi East Constituency [Luos, Kikuyus, Luhyas, Kambas, Merus e.t.c] all love Babu Owino.
Most Luos are seriously considering supporting Babu Owino – a man they believe has the thick skin to guard votes – to take them to Canaan.
Is Babu the ‘Joshua’ to take Azimio to Canaan?
Is he the man to replace Baba?
