Arsenal fans are already trying to wear a thin smile after a disappointing January transfer period.
Reports emerging from Emirates indicate that Arsenal have set aside some Ksh 180 million to purchase high quality players in Summer.
This is no doubt very good news for Arsenal players who have had to contend with somewhat below average performance from the the team.
The club owner Mr. Stan Kroenke is keen on adding fuel to the beautiful fire Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has started by allowing him to spend huge amounts of money to rebuild the team.
Some of the players Arteta is keen on buying in the Summer have been identified as Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin (both strikers) and midfielder Ruben Neves who currently plays for Wolves.
The board believes that the additions will be enough to push Arsenal FC to the next level.
Meanwhile, Arteta will have to work hard to ensure the highly depelated team qualifies for Champions League next season.
To achieve this, Arsenal will have to finish in the to four.
This will however not be a cakewalk given teams like Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham are all eying top four – especially given top three positions looking like they are already occupied.
