Security Guard Wins Ksh11.5 Million SportPesa Jackpot 

Charles Bonzo Musyoki is the latest millionaire in town after winning Ksh 11.5 Million SportPesa Midweek Jackpot.    

Musyoki, who is a county security officer, has been struggling to pay for his wife’s medical bill since 2015 after she sustained injuries from a fall.

“Prayers have brought me this far; the Lord provides if you ask and trust in him. SportPesa has changed my life and I am very happy for this win. My first priority will be towards my wife’s medical costs, to restore her health. Whatever is left will go to my two grandchildren, since my children are all adults unless they want to further their education,” said Mr Musyoki when he visited the SportPesa office.

Mr. Musyoki who has previously won bonuses with SportPesa – said he is aiming for the Mega Jackpot which currently stands at Ksh127,251,683.

The ardent Chelsea fan put in several bets towards the midweek jackpot in his pursuit for a win, one of which was successful.

He said:  “When you go hunting, if you want success, you carry several arrows, so if one misses you have many others to hit your success”.

The Midweek Jackpot comprises 13 select games per week and starts from Ksh 10 million increasing each week until there is a winner. The jackpot will now reset to Ksh 10 million.

Musyoka is the third Jackpot winner with SportPesa this year.

The other winner was Nairobi-based car spare parts winner Mutuku Muoka who won Ksh 12 million in January. Mouka stormed into victory after he correctly predicted the outcome of 13 games giving him the golden opportunity to pocket KSh 12,444,453 in January 2021.

Maurice Vidija Muliango 52, from Jericho won Ksh 21 million earlier this month.

Others who have tasted SportPesa millions include Gordon Ogada Paul who won Ksh 230,742,881 million mega jackpot in 2018, Samuel Abisai who hit the headlines when he won Ksh 221 Million after correctly predicting the outcome of 17 football matches in 2017.
