Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasi, his wife and child are hospitalised after being involved in a road accident along the Kapsabet-Nakuru road on Tuesday, May 1, 2021.
Matasi was rushed to to Kapsabet hospital where he has been admitted for treatment.
Sources indicate that Matasi was the one driving the vehicle when it lost control and rolled several times prompted by a car tyre burst.
“The car lost control and developed a tyre burst then rolled over,” Albert explained, adding that, “Matasi was with his family and two brothers in-law and currently the doctor is running some scans on him because he is complaining of chest pains,” his cousin Albert Mulanda told the media adding that they will be waiting for scans before they can take any other action.
Matasi is said to have complained of chest and shoulder pains.
