A security guard working at a multinational NGO has received Ksh1,419,248 after winning the SportPesa Mega Jackpot for last weekend.

Arthur Anangwe Ayoyi who hails from Butere in Kakamega was elated at his win, noting that he has never won before despite several attempts.

He won the bonus for correctly predicting the outcome of 15 matches out of the 17-game Mega Jackpot selection.

“Everyone’s target is to change their lives. My target is to win Sh 286 million,” said Ayoyi, referring to the current SportPesa Mega Jackpot amount of Sh 286,394,985.

Had Ayoyi not missed out on the correct predictions for two out of the matches in last weekend’s Mega Jackpot, he would have won Ksh 285, 496,875.

For his impressive attempt at the Mega Jackpot Ayoyi won the bonus amount. Bonuses are paid from 12 to 16 correct predictions.

He was awarded the Ksh1.4 million alongside Nelson Omwega a businessman in Kisii county.

Omwega who has been a SportPesa customer for years also vowed not to relent in his quest for the ultimate price of winning the overall Mega Jackpot.
