Raila Odinga’s Remix Song Breaks Youtube After Just 6 Hours

Just five hours after “Leo ni leo” remix song sung by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and famous Luhya musician Emmanuel Musindi was posted on Youtube, nearly 70,000 Kenyans have clicked to watch the song.

The song features Raila and Emmanuel on the microphone – and has Raila dropping some interesting lines in his characteristic baritone voice.

The original song –  titled ‘Rero ni Rero’ – has become like an anthem in the Azimio La Umoja rallies.

The “Leo ni leo” music video featuring Raila Odinga premiere on Valentine’s Day – with only a snippet, a trailer of what was to come released to the masses.

Interestingly, ‘Leo ni Leo’ is not a new song.

The song has been around – with the first upload on Youtube done in 2016.

Whoever chose the song as Azimio La Umoja theme song deserves a trophy.

It’s the kind of song that will stick in the mind, heart and soul of any listener.
