A driver ferrying Muguka to Mombasa died last night after his truck rammed an electric pole on the side of the road.
The driver had earlier been captured on video driving the loaded lorry recklessly – in clear disregard of other road users. In one of the clips seen by Mwanahabari.co.ke, the driver can be seen bulldozing a driver of saloon car – before overtaking him in what witnesses have described as dangerous show-off.
In yet another video captured just moments before the accident which occurred at night, the driver can be seen going over bumps – hooting and speeding yet again.
Two other daredevil lorry driver ferrying the revered weed were captured on video speeding on a narrow stretch of road.
Moments later – the lorry hit a pole after the driver lost control.
The driver died on the spot while his two passengers are in critical condition.
