Officers from the Directorate of criminal Investigations (DCI) have made shocking revelations concerning the death of 23-year-old Jeff Mwathi
The preliminary revelations by officers from the DCI office show that Jeff was already dead by the time his body dropped from the 10th floor of a building.
Jeff whose body was exhumed a few days ago is reported to have jumped to his death from the Redwood Apartments in Kasarani on February 22, 2023.
The house belongs to famous DJ Mugithi artiste Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo – something that has the musician in the eye of the storm.
In a statement on Thursday, DCI said it had collected DNA samples from the deceased and other persons of interest “to ascertain whether allegations of sexual molestation before the deceased’s death hold water.”
The detectives have conducted an autopsy and did swabs from the anal region to find out if the deceased had been sodomized as has been alleged.
Police conducted scientific scene reconstruction at the apartment and recorded fresh statements from witnesses.
