A grisly accident happened on Sunday, November 14 – along the Narok- Mai Mahiu road.
The accident which claimed the lives of four people and left 12 others nursing serious injuries – involved a Toyota Wish and a Nissan belonging to a Galaxy Sacco.
According to Narok East commander Jared Marandu, the accident occurred when the driver of the Toyota Wish attempted to avoid hitting a drunkard who was crossing the road.
The driver of the Wish is said to have rammed the oncoming Nissan which was ferrying passengers from Nairobi – head on.
The driver of the Toyota Wish which was also carrying avocado died on the spot.
The four who died on the spot included three men and a woman.
The injured were rushed to Narok hospital at Nairegie Enkare for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, the vehicles were toed to Ntulele police station as the dead bodies were transferred to the mortuary.
