Satan Shoes Musician Wins Video of The Year Award

There can only be one Lil Nas X – the young man who shocked the world in February 2021, after launching the controversial Satan shoes – and following it up with hit song “Montero: Call Me By Your Name”.

The shoes and the song divided opinion across the globe – still, it recorded millions of views in a span of few days.

The world loved “Montero: Call Me By Your Name” – a video which showed Lil Nas X in the Garden on Eden – before sliding from heaven in a strippers pole right into hell. The musician then proceed to give Satan a lap dance.

A complex song – one must say – and now Lil Nas X took home the top prize of Video of the Year during the MTV VMAs awards held in Brooklyn, USA.

The controversial musician gave a standout performance, taking a marching band motif for “Industry Baby” before sliding into “Montero: Call Me By Your Name.” which won the Moon Person for Video of the Year, the night’s biggest honor.

Accepting the his ward, the openly gay musician said: “First I wanna say thank you to the gay agenda,” Lil Nas X shouted during his acceptance speech. “Let’s go gay agenda!”

Lil Nas X faced extreme backlash after the release of “Montero,” including from parental groups who called the track demonic.
