Nominated Senator Dies in Night Accident

Nominated Senator Victor Prengei has died.
Prengei died on Monday night, August 16 in a road accident along Kabarak Nakuru road.
The politician who sustained serious injuries following the accident was rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital for medical attention where he, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
Reports indicate that he was heading towards Kabarak direction from Nakuru Town, when the vehicle he was driving lost control and veered off the road before landing in a ditch.
Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka mourned Prengei, and termed his untimely death a big blow to the Senate and Kenya’s leadership.
Prengei joined Parliament in 2017 on a Jubilee Party Ticket after being nominated. He was the first legislator from the minority Ogiek community.
