Citizen TV journalist Willis Raburu on Sunday, August 15, issued a long statement to correct misreportage about his total number of children.
Raburu who just recently welcomed a new-born son said in his statement that he is a father of two, and one as has constantly been reported by the media.
“First of all let me say that I am all for the freedom of expression and speech. I appreciate all the hard work the blogs and bloggers and/or writers put in to get out their stories. I may not always agree with the methods or practice but are trying to earn and that’s noble, at least to some extent.
“It has, however, come to my attention while reading some of them, that I am constantly referred to as “FATHER OF ONE”. This however is not the case. As many of you know, I lost my daughter Adana. For those who have gone through such loss, you know that it NEVER leaves you,” read the statement.
“Society often, though not always, tends to annihilate the man, make him look devoid of feelings because ‘men ought not feel’ or ‘you id not carry the baby’ while the last one part is true, what is also true is that we feel. That I feel pain each day, that I still cry, that I still wish she were here. I honor her.
“Recently I got an amazing young boy. I see heaven each time I look at him. He is truly my heart. I am therefore without a shadow of doubt a “FATHER OF TWO”. Not a NEW father,” stated Raburu.
