Ambassador Amina Mohamed’s husband is dead.Khalid Ahmed died on Thursday. July 29, 2021 at 5am.
A number of dignitaries have moaned Ahmed as a dedicated businessman who valued his family.
Some of the people who condoled with the family of the Sports CS Amina is Tourism CS Najib Balala.
Balala said: “It is with the great sadness that I have learnt of the passing on of Khalid Ahmed, husband to Ambassador Amina Mohamed. Khalid was a great man, generous to a fault and a pillar of strength to his family.”
A family spokesperson confirmed that Mr Ahmed, a father of two, died at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi where he was undergoing treatment.
Amina lost her brother Esmael Mohamed Jibril in March 2021 while undergoing treatment in India.

The daughter Nur had this to say following the death of the dad
“You are my moon, my sun, my universe, my beginning , my end. Without you I am lost daddy,” she said.
Nur is said to be a fashion designer in the United States. According to various blogs, in 2014, Muhoho and Nur partnered up. Their designs won the Designer of the Year Awards in the category of Emerging Designers.
