Blackout Forces BBI Hearings to Adjourn

Court of Appeal judges were forced to adjourn after a sudden power outage.

Reacting to the blackout, Court of Appeal Justice Daniel Musinga said thus: “We are not supposed to have these problems… let’s check if the generator is working.”

A few minutes later, Justice Musinga said that he had been reliably informed that the generator had some problems.

“You will excuse us because we have a problem with the generator. It was supposed to have come on automatically, but it did not. Since we only had 15 minutes to break, I ask that we adjourn,” President of the Court of Appeal said.

The court adjourned.
