A 44-year-old man died after collapsing in his girlfriends’ house in Nairobi’s Soweto-Nyando area. The report was made at the Soweto police station and recorded under OBXX/27/05/2021 at 1457hrs.
The report was made by one Miriam Wangare Githuka aged 36yrs and who is said to have been in her house with the deceased whom police identified as Fredrick Kyalo Mwilu.
Miriam noted in his statement that “today 27/05/021 at around 1100hrs she was in her rented house situated within Soweto-Nyando area area, when her boyfriend one Fredrick Kyalo Mwilu aged 44yrs old, paid her a visit where they stayed for an hour engaging in intimacy. In that process as they were on the act the boyfriend made a sharp sound and collapsed prompting her to seek help. She was later assisted by a taxi driver.
Police said that the woman and the taxi driver escorted the unconscious boyfriend to mama Lucy Kibaki hospital.
However, upon arrival at the hospital, the deceased was attended to by the medical personnel who found him having passed on.
The scene was visited by the duty officer/duty NCO Soweto and DCI personnel and found the deceased body to have no visible injuries. The deceased body is lying at the same facility awaiting autopsy.
